The 17th Annual Golf Classic fundraiser was last Sunday at Sierra Star. It was really fun and we filled the course with 146 golfers…2 over the max!!We partnered with Mammoth Lakes Foundation for the second year in a row, with all revenues, expenses and proceeds shared equally between MLF and DSES. The goal of this fundraiser is to support higher education, cultural arts and the National Wounded Warrior Center.
The photos from the event have been uploaded to their web. See them at www.facebook.com/mammothlakesfoundation. Download hi-res photos at http://bit.ly/2c9Lql9. Jeff Smith did a bang-up job with the camera…I’ve already requested him for next year!! Feel free to share this with your networks.
Here are the results:
1st place low gross with a score of 54
1st place low gross Ladies division score of 61 (first time with Ladies Awards…big hit!)
Blind Bogey Winners score of 72
On that note, fundraising is a team sport and I have the privilege of working with an amazing team of leaders, connectors, champions, askers and supporters. Thank you all for your dedication and commitment to DISABLED SPORTS EASTERN SIERRA. You guys are great! SMOOCHES, Kathy
